The Catit Design Senses Grass Garden Kit Grass Refill is designed to be used with the Catit Design Senses Grass Garden Kit (Art. # 50755). The refill package includes grass seed and vermiculite, which serves as the substrate for growing cat grass.

Cat grass is a natural source of fiber that can aid in a cat’s digestion and help prevent the buildup of hairballs. The grass seeds included in the refill package are a mixture of barley seeds (2.5%) and wheat seeds, making up the pure seed mixture (97.5%). Additionally, the vermiculite acts as an inert material and is added to the mixture at a rate of 97.5%.

The germination of the grass seeds has been tested and guaranteed to have an 85% success rate. This means that most of the seeds should sprout and grow into healthy cat grass when properly cared for using the Catit Design Senses Grass Garden Kit.
