It is a rugged, stainless steel with 500 watts. Not made of the typical plastic that was prone to cracking. It has two thermo-sensors that sense water temperature from different locations within the unit. It is superior in freezing temperatures. Safe for plastic or rubber liners and has a highly visible LED light that indicates proper functioning of the unit. The unit has a 22 foot cord with grounded plug. 7-1/2″ diameter by 5 inches high.
